Helicopter crashes in Ukraine, among the victims were four children and other employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Pasta is the head of the armed forces. The cause of the fall is still unknown.
A helicopter crash outside Kiev, Ukraine, killed Interior Minister Denis Monastirsky and 16 others, including four children, on Wednesday.
Until the last update of this news, the cause of the plane crash was still unknown, but the Ukrainian government confirmed the death of the interior minister in the crash. This position is one of the most important in the country – the head of the portfolio, the head of the army and one of the protagonists of the war in Ukraine.
- Together with Monastyrsky, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevhen Yenn and Minister of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lubkovych boarded the helicopter. Both die.
- According to the governor of the Kiev region, Alexei Kuleb, three children were victims.

Also the accident occurred early in the morning in a residential area of Brovary, municipality 25 kilometers from the center of Kiev. The Ukrainian capital and its surroundings have been subject to continuous Russian bombing since the end of last year.

The helicopter is a French-made Super Puma. which belong to the Ukrainian government and are normally applied in emergency operations.
How did the helicopter crash?
The Ukrainian intelligence agency said it had opened an investigation to determine the causes of the helicopter crash and indicated it was currently studying the following hypotheses:
- Violation of aviation rules
- Maleficent technical functioning of the helicopter;
- An intentional act to dismantle a vehicle.
According to local residents, the helicopter crashed into part of the nursery and into a wall. The fall caused a huge explosion.
“We kept the children away from the kindergarten through the fence, mainly because there was a fire on the second floor,” he said.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke about the crash of the plane which he said "shows the price that Ukraine is paying".
"Our thoughts on this sad day are with the families of the victims and the injured and with President Zelensky, who has lost his interior minister."
