Why doesn't the mega of the turn accumulate?

The Mega da Virada is not collectible, as it is a special edition of the Loteria da drawer. The draw takes place only once a year, always on the last day of December.

If no player hits the six dozen drawn, the top prize in 2022 will be divided between those who hit by corner and so on.

In regular Mega-Sena draws, the maximum prize amount accumulates for the next draw if there are no winners in the prize pool.

Because it is a special format, Mega da Virada receives the highest prize. Its value is estimated at around 450 million reais in 2022, which is a historic record.

The value of the Mega da Virada prize is made up of:

• Mega da Virada Competition Collection with 62 % discount
• 5 % of the total value of each Mega-Sena draw throughout the year.
• 22 % from the cumulative total of the four immediately preceding games
• The accumulated total in the first installment (sena) of the previous contest, if applicable

You can bet on Mega da Virada since the 16th of November and you can bet until the 31st of December, the draw date.
